A Little Bit About Us
We’re a small school, shaping big minds. Families often come to St. Francis Xavier because we’re known for our award-winning preschool program. And, the education gets nothing but better from there! Our school is a close-knit family with values that align with our Christ-centered beliefs.
As a part of the Catholic Community School system, St. Francis Xavier provides students of all religious and ethnical backgrounds with a strong education that will set the foundation of their lives. We believe that strong faith leads to strong families.
We provide an environment that fosters much more than a strong academic curriculum. We provide our students:
- A foundation of faith.
- A community that feels like family.
- A focus on growing social and emotional skills.
- A place to belong and grow.
What is different at St. Francis Xavier?
Our teachers work with kiddos to develop their whole self. Just as academics are important, so are spiritual, emotional, and social development.
We follow the example of Christ. Faith is woven into our daily curriculum, and we get to pray at school. How cool is that?!
We care for each other like family at SFX. We protect, love, and nurture your child like they are our own.
Our Patron Saint
St. Francis Xavier
St. Francis Xavier was a scholar, teacher, missionary, and priest in the 1500s. He was known for evangelizing his faith to those he met in his mission areas of travel.
As a Spanish Jesuit, Francis Xavier served as a Roman Catholic missionary. He was a founding member of the Jesuit order and travelled extensively to share his faith.
In our school, we honor St. Francis Xavier by teaching our students how to evangelize and share their faith with their family and friends. We also have a focus on Spanish language classes, honoring St. Francis Xavier’s Spanish roots.
St. Francis Xavier is the patron saint of Roman Catholic missions.
